Pleasant View Bible Church has demonstrated a genuine desire to reach the world. Our commitment to World Missions grew in the 1970’s and 80’s under the ministry of Pastor Ivan French. Today, PVBC supports nearly 50 missionaries and missions agencies which occupies over one-third of our church’s giving.
Our church is regularly involved in short-term missions trips which encourage people to participate in our world missions outreach. We have taken trips to Far East Russia, Mexico, Canada, Japan, France, Ireland, Spain, Morocco, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. We are excited to be sending a team to Guatemala this summer.
We would invite you to attend our week-long Missions Conference during the month of October.
We were SO EXCITED to send a team to Villa Nueva, Guatemala in July of 2024. The team went down to aid a ministry working with the city's working poor. We assisted with a trade school for adults working on developing marketable skills, a foster home for the foster children of the area who are being raised in an island of love and safety amidst a sea of dangerous circumstances, and partnered with a Christian aid organization in the distribution of food and building materials for homes.
It was such a joy to see 12 adults and 12 of their children and teens travel to bring the love of Jesus to "the least of these."
